Once again, there was a tremendous amount of opportunity in small, micro and nano cap stocks. The volatility is at a seriously high level each day providing big opportunities in the market.
We have heard from many day traders in chat rooms making serious money. This includes a $224,000 day from Ross Cameron at Warrior Trading. He posted 181K of profit with CARV and 40K with COHN. This is the biggest daily profit he has experienced in his trading career.
It’s always fun to hear the great stories but when there is serious profit opportunity, there is also serious risk. For every big winner, there are many more losers. The winners like to show their gains and the losers put their tales between their legs and keep quiet.
Although I personally had a nice profit today and made over $1,300.00 in UONEK, I have also experienced losses and they are not fun to talk about.
If you are day trading, try to keep your losses small and don’t try to model anyone else. Become profitable as a trader through your studies and discoveries.
Ross Cameron – Warrior Trading 224K – CARV & COHN
Carver Bancorp, Inc (CARV)
CARV had a 563.9% gap up today. It started moving the first chance it could get pre-market ever so slightly from the $3.00 level and then hit $17.41 @ 8:27 AM before the opening bell.
At the bell, there was a seesaw effect with a quick $3.00 move followed up with a $5.00 drop inside of 5 minutes. CARV was choppy but found its way to a $22.97 high of day. A near $10.00 drop would follow within the next 17 minutes and CARV would have a series of pops and drops, one of which was a $5.00 pop.
Closing price $8.39. There was 58 million shares traded; Float 3.69M.
- Cohen & Co, Inc (COHN)
COHN started out with very light volume making it dangerous to take an entry. There were several halts on the way up to a $18.90 high of day. A parabolic move considering the previous day closing of $4.11. The move started at 7:20 AM CST on low volume and by 10:00 AM CST the $18.90 high of day was touched before a near $10.00 pullback inside of 11 minutes. Closing price $8.50. There was 6 million shares traded; Float 669K. Oher Notables Stocks: UONEK, WATT, NTN, OPHC & LMFA
- UONEK – A gap up of 148.2%and a move from the $3.00 level pre-market to a high of $8.01.
Closing price $2.65. There was 88 million shares traded; Float 17.55M.
- WATT – A 57.5% gap-up and a run from $2.17 to $5.65. A nice move over $3.00 from 5:00 AM CST to 5:30 AM CST.
Closing price $2.73. There was 58.8 million shares traded; Float 34.56M.
- NTN – A gap of 32.9% and a pre-market move from $4.00 to $3.31 and then a $1.50 drop with a continuation to $7.29.
Closing price $2.39. There was 10.8 million shares traded; Float 2.28M.
- OPHC – A move starting at 7:00 AM CST, a perfect time for most day traders as the brokerage houses are ready to take entries. It was a move from $3.00 to $6.38 before a sharp selloff.
Closing price $2.78. There was 6.4 million shares traded; Float 1.6M.
- LMFA – Another move starting pre-market at 7:00 AM CST from the $1.00 level to $3.56. It followed with an extended pullback after the bell and continued a run at 8:50 AM CST from $3.00 to $4.89.
Closing price $1.51. There was 57 million shares traded; Float 2.35M. “CARV almost TOuches a high of $23.00”
